MISSION
Parents and guardians are the first educators of their children. The mission of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Preschool is to support and enable parents and guardians to carry out this most important task. We beleive an atmosphere of learning which fosters the development of the whole child is greatly enhanced by an environment of Catholic Christian morality and spiritual values. During the first years of a child's life, his/her potential can be positively influenced by establishing a strong foundation. We pledge excellence in promoting the development of this foundation of both learning skills and spiritual development.

GOALS
- To develop and maintain a partnership with the parents/guardians.
- To provide an environment rich in spiritual values under the
direction of professional staff who are people of faith.
- To promote developmentally appropriate early childhood practices
by providing physical, social, emotional, creative and spiritual
learning activities.
- To protect and foster the child’s health and safety.
- To promote the child’s foundation for future development both at
home and at school.
LOCATION
The only Catholic Preschool in Grand Island , communicating Christian values with the symbols and traditions of the Catholic Faith, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Preschool is located in the Egging Education Wing of Blessed Sacrament Church. The location of the preschool also creates unique opportunities for the children to explore the community around them by visiting various places in the neighborhood.
NAEYC ACCREDITATION
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Preschool achieved accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), in January 2003. Accreditation is granted only to programs that meet national standards of excellence for high-quality early childhood programs.
